Quick answer
Is Gemini Enterprise worth it in 2026?
Gemini Enterprise is Google Cloud's per-seat platform for AI at work: a Gemini assistant that searches across your company's apps, Deep Research, Gemini Notebook, and a no-code Workflow Builder that runs agents on a schedule or when data changes in a connected app, with approval steps. It's worth it for Google Workspace companies that want agents grounded in their own data with admin controls. The Business edition, for up to 300 users per Google's product page, costs $21 a seat a month with a 30-day trial for up to 5 seats; Standard and Plus, which add Salesforce and ServiceNow connectors, data residency and stronger security controls, are priced through sales. Prices were checked on Google's pages on October 13, 2026.
- Best for
- Google Workspace companies that want company-wide AI search, research and agents with approvals.
- Skip it if
- You only need Gemini in Gmail and Docs; the Gemini app is already included in Google Workspace business plans.
- Strongest capability
- Grounded agents: Workflow Builder runs on schedules or connector events, with request-info and approval steps, across Google and Microsoft data.
- Biggest limitation
- Edition gating and thin pricing: Business lacks Salesforce, ServiceNow and data residency, and Google publishes no price for Standard or Plus.
The Verdict
Gemini Enterprise is Google's answer to Microsoft Copilot Studio: a per-seat workspace where employees chat with Gemini across company data, run Deep Research, build notebooks and create agents in a no-code Workflow Builder. Agents run on schedules (minutes to months, or cron) or when data changes in a connector, and can pause for information or approval; Google's docs say adding or updating data through connectors requires human review. The Business edition is reasonably priced at $21 a seat with a 30-day trial and pooled daily quotas. The limits are edition gating and transparency: Business leaves out Salesforce and ServiceNow connectors, data residency, CMEK and VPC Service Controls; Google's pricing page now returns a 404 and Standard and Plus are sales-only; and Google's own pages disagree on the Business seat cap and whether no-code agents are still in preview. We score Gemini Enterprise 8.3/10.

The Background
What Is Gemini Enterprise?
Gemini Enterprise is sold by Google Cloud. It launched on October 9, 2025, when Google folded Google Agentspace into it, and in October 2026 Google's product page was retitled 'Gemini for Business'. It is separate from the Gemini app included with Google Workspace business plans (covered in BestStacked's Gemini review): Workspace's Gemini works on Workspace data, while Gemini Enterprise adds connectors beyond Workspace, agents, Deep Research quotas and, on higher editions, data residency and HIPAA. Editions are Business, Standard, Plus, a Frontline add-on and, since August 2026, a pay-as-you-go edition. Google says it doesn't train its models on your prompts, outputs or data.
The Product
Gemini Enterprise Features: What You Actually Get
Assistant, Deep Research and Notebook
Employees chat with Gemini across connected data, run Deep Research reports and create Gemini Notebooks (formerly NotebookLM Enterprise). Business allows, per seat per day and pooled across the team, 120 assistant queries, 3 Deep Research reports, 2 images and 1 video. Gemini 3.8 Flash became the default model on September 23, 2026.
A strategy team runs Deep Research on a new market using public sources and its own Drive and SharePoint files.
Workflow Builder agents
The no-code Workflow Builder (formerly Agent Designer) creates agents that run on a schedule (minutes to months, or a cron expression) or when data changes in a connector, with up to 100 nodes per flow. Business allows 1 agent build per seat per day, pooled. Google's release notes say Workflow Builder became generally available on September 3, 2026.
An ops lead builds an agent that checks new Jira tickets each morning and posts a prioritised summary to Google Chat.
Approvals and human review
Workflows can include 'Request info' and 'Approval' steps, and Google's docs note that adding or updating data through connectors requires human review. Agent governance is basic on Business and broader on higher editions.
A sales-ops agent drafts CRM updates from meeting notes and waits for the account owner to approve each change.
Connectors and MCP
Business includes Google connectors (Calendar, Chat, Drive, Gmail, Sites) and about 29 third-party ones, including OneDrive, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Jira, Confluence, Slack, HubSpot, Notion, GitHub, Box, Dropbox and Zendesk. Salesforce and ServiceNow are listed only for Standard and Plus. Custom MCP servers on Business are in public preview.
A company on Google Workspace with files in SharePoint connects both so Gemini can answer across them.
Security and admin
Every edition includes Model Armor. Standard and Plus add customer-managed encryption keys, VPC Service Controls, data residency, audit logs and FedRAMP and HIPAA support, plus bring-your-own agents built with Google's Agent Development Kit or the A2A protocol. Business data stays in a multi-region chosen from your billing country.
A healthcare company chooses Standard for HIPAA support and EU data residency.

The Numbers
Gemini Enterprise Pricing: Every Plan Explained
Google publishes only the Business edition price; its Gemini Enterprise pricing page returned a 404 when we checked. Details below are from Google's Business page, editions documentation and help center, checked October 13, 2026, in USD.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Included Features | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BusinessBest value | $21/seat | 12-month term billed monthly at a discounted rate | Up to 300 users per the product page (1-500 per the editions doc), 25 GiB pooled storage, assistant, Deep Research, Gemini Notebook, no-code agents, Google and ~29 third-party connectors; 30-day trial for up to 5 seats | Small and mid-sized Workspace teams |
| Standard | Contact sales | Contact sales | 30 GiB storage, full connector set incl. Salesforce and ServiceNow, data residency, CMEK, VPC-SC, audit logs, bring-your-own agents, AI developer tools credit | Enterprises with security requirements |
| Plus | Contact sales | Contact sales | 75 GiB storage, higher quotas (10 agent builds and 10 Deep Research per license a day), everything in Standard; 30-day self-serve trial offered | Heavy agent and research users |
| Pay-as-you-go | Usage-based | — | One-seat minimum on an invoiced Cloud Billing account; storage $5 per GiB a month, other usage at Agent Platform prices | Variable, developer-led usage |
At $21 a seat, a 20-person team on Business pays $420 a month, or $5,040 a year (our arithmetic), before any annual-term discount, which Google doesn't quantify. Quotas are pooled: the team's daily allowance is the per-seat limit times the number of paid seats, and a trial gets five seats' worth. Google's help center says you can't switch from an annual to a monthly term until the 12 months are up, cancellation takes effect at the end of the term, charges are non-refundable, and data is deleted when you cancel. Business can also be bought through a Google Workspace subscription, which follows Workspace billing. Standard and Plus overages can be billed at pay-as-you-go rates.
Which Gemini?
Gemini in Workspace vs Gemini Enterprise
Google says the Gemini app is included at no additional cost for Google Workspace commercial customers and works on Workspace data. If your team mainly wants help writing in Gmail and Docs or summarising Drive files, that may be enough.
Gemini Enterprise is a separate per-seat subscription. It adds connectors beyond Workspace (Microsoft 365, Jira, Slack and more), the Workflow Builder for agents, pooled Deep Research and agent quotas, and, on Standard and Plus, data residency, HIPAA and stronger security controls.

Where Google's own pages differ
Seat cap: the Business product page and FAQ describe teams of up to 300, while the editions documentation lists 1 to 500 users for Business.
Preview status: the editions table still marks no-code agent features as preview, while the release notes say Workflow Builder became generally available on September 3, 2026.
Documentation scope: Google's Cloud docs for Workflow Builder are written for the Standard, Plus, pay-as-you-go and Frontline editions and point Business customers to a separate help center, so some workflow limits aren't documented for Business.
Pricing and models: the Business page shows $21 a seat, while the pricing page returns a 404 and the main product page shows no prices. The Business quota page lists older Gemini models than the Business release notes.

The Audience
Who Should Use Gemini Enterprise?
Best for: Google Workspace companies
Teams that live in Gmail, Drive and Chat get company-wide AI search, research and agents with admin controls, at a published per-seat price.
Best for: mixed Google and Microsoft shops
Business connects to OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook and Teams, so answers and agents can span both suites.

If people only need AI help in Gmail, Docs and Drive, the Gemini app already included in Workspace business plans may cover it at no extra cost.
The Methodology
How We Reviewed Gemini Enterprise
This is an editorial review, not a documented hands-on test. We didn't use a Gemini Enterprise subscription for this review. Where Google's pages differ, we report both statements. No agent results are claimed.
Our editorial evaluation considers product information, official documentation, pricing, features and professional experience. It is not a claim of documented hands-on testing.

In The Wild
How People Actually Use Gemini Enterprise
A 50-person company on Google Workspace
Business ($21 a seat, $1,050 a month for 50) adds company-wide search, Deep Research and no-code agents. Trial it with 5 seats for 30 days and check whether Workspace's built-in Gemini already covers most needs.
A regulated enterprise
Standard or Plus adds data residency, CMEK, VPC Service Controls and HIPAA support. Pricing is through sales, so ask for per-seat and overage rates in writing.
A sales-ops team on Salesforce
Salesforce connectors aren't in Business. Budget for Standard, or compare Agentforce or Copilot Studio if most data lives in Salesforce.
The Ecosystem
Gemini Enterprise Integrations
Gemini Enterprise connects to Google, Microsoft and business apps; Google's product page says it supports over 100 integrations across editions.

- →Box and Dropbox
- →Salesforce and ServiceNow (Standard and Plus)

Some Business connectors, including Granted, Kiwi, Mermaid and PandaDoc, are in public preview. Bring-your-own agents built with the Agent Development Kit or A2A need Standard or Plus.

Gemini Enterprise FAQ
The Final Word
Should You Use Gemini Enterprise?
Gemini Enterprise gives Google Workspace companies a clear, per-seat way to add AI search, research and governed agents across Google and Microsoft data. The Business edition is the easy entry point; the catches are its connector and security gaps, pooled daily quotas, and the lack of published prices above it. Check whether Workspace's included Gemini already does what you need, then use the 30-day trial. We score Gemini Enterprise 8.3/10.
Yes, if
You run on Google Workspace and want company-wide AI search, research and agents with approvals.
No, if
Workspace's built-in Gemini is enough, or you need Salesforce and data residency without a sales contract.
