    Quick answer

What is Durable, and is it worth paying for?

Durable is an AI website builder for small service businesses. You answer a few questions and it generates a site with copy and images, which you then edit by section or with AI. Around the site it adds a simple CRM, online bookings with paid bookings, invoicing through Stripe, directory listings and AI agents that draft blog posts and request reviews. It's worth it for a plumber, coach or cleaner who wants to be online and bookable this week. It isn't built for e-commerce, custom code or design-heavy sites. On October 14, 2026 Launch cost $22 a month billed yearly or $25 monthly with 1,000 AI credits a month, and Grow cost $41 or $49 with 5,000. The free plan is a private preview: you can't publish to a domain or use the AI tools from the comparison table.

    Best for
Solo service businesses that want a site, bookings and a contact list from one cheap subscription.
    Skip it if
You sell products online, need custom code or design control, or want to export your site later.
    Strongest capability
Speed: a generated, hosted site with bookings, CRM and SEO basics in one plan, with no design work.
    Biggest limitation
Limited customization and no site export, AI work capped by expiring credits, and a free plan that can't go live.
    Current cost
Free preview; Launch $22/mo billed yearly ($25 monthly); Grow $41/mo billed yearly ($49 monthly).

    The Verdict

Durable is one of the fastest routes from nothing to a working small-business website. Its pricing page lists unlimited AI-generated pages and traffic, SSL, a sitemap and an llms.txt file on every plan, and Launch adds your own domain, branding removal, unlimited CRM contacts, bookings with paid bookings, Google Business Profile management and AI agents for blog posts and review requests. That bundle is good value at $22 a month billed yearly if it replaces a separate booking tool and contact list. The limits are the flip side of the simplicity: Durable says it's no-code with limited HTML customization and isn't designed for e-commerce, its terms describe no site export, AI work is metered in credits that expire and whose costs can change without notice, and the free plan is only a private preview. We score Durable 7.7/10.

    The Background

    What Is Durable?

Durable is a hosted website builder from Durable Technologies Inc., a company whose about page names Vancouver, Canada as its home base and lists investors including Spark Capital and Torch Capital. Its site moved from durable.co to durable.com, and it now calls itself "the complete AI business builder," pitching one plan in place of seven subscriptions. You describe your business, Durable generates a site in seconds (its pages say both "30 seconds" and "in minutes"), and you edit sections or ask the AI to make changes. Around the site sit a CRM, bookings, invoicing and payments through Stripe, SEO and "GEO" tools, directory listings, and AI agents for blog posts, review collection and competitor research. AI actions use credits. Sites are hosted on Cloudflare. Durable says more than 3 million businesses have been built on it; that's its own figure.

    The Product

Durable Features: What You Actually Get

    AI site generation and editing

Durable generates a full site with copy, images and sections from a short description, then lets you edit with drag and drop or by asking the AI for changes. Every plan includes unlimited AI-generated pages, unlimited traffic, SSL, a mobile layout, metadata, JSON-LD, a sitemap and an llms.txt file. Durable describes the product as no-code and says it doesn't offer extensive HTML customization, though custom code is listed on Launch.

A mobile dog groomer generates a five-page site with services, prices and a contact form in one sitting, then rewrites the About page by prompt.

    Bookings, CRM and invoicing

Launch includes unlimited bookings with calendar sync, custom intake questions and paid bookings, plus an unlimited CRM (the free plan holds 10 customers). The help center documents sending invoices and payment reminders, with payments processed by Stripe and no extra fee from Durable; the pricing page doesn't say which plans include invoicing.

A personal trainer takes paid session bookings from the site and keeps each client's history in the built-in CRM.

AI agents, SEO and local listings

Launch adds AI agents that draft blog posts, ask customers for reviews, research competitors and answer business questions, plus advanced SEO and GEO settings, Google Business Profile management and listings on 10-plus directories. Grow adds site translation with a language switcher and five times the AI usage. Each AI action spends credits: 1,000 a month on Launch and 5,000 on Grow.

A roofing company has the blog agent draft monthly posts on local storm repairs and sends review requests after each job.

    Domains and hosting

Paid plans connect your own domain or include a free one, capped at $20 in value on Launch and a $40 domain credit on Grow. Hosting is on Cloudflare. If you leave, Durable's FAQ says transferring a domain out takes a couple of weeks and involves a minimum subscription time (the length was blank on the live page).

A new cleaning business registers its .com through Durable on Launch and keeps it after moving to another builder a year later.

    The Numbers

    Durable Pricing: Every Plan Explained

Durable has a free plan and two paid plans. These are the prices on its pricing page on October 14, 2026, in US dollars per month; yearly billing saves about 15%.

    PlanMonthlyAnnualIncluded FeaturesBest For

The plan to compare is Launch: $22 a month billed yearly (about $264 a year) or $25 monthly. That's above Framer's $10 Basic and in line with Wix's Light plan, but Durable's price includes bookings, a CRM and AI content tools that cost extra elsewhere. What it doesn't publish is how many credits each AI action uses; its terms say the cost per action varies and can change without notice, credits are non-refundable and expire with your plan. The free domain is capped at $20 (Launch) or $40 (Grow), and the renewal cost after the first year isn't on the pricing page. Durable's terms make fees non-cancelable and non-refundable, renew plans automatically for the same term, and allow price changes on each anniversary with 30 days' notice; the help center says refunds aren't automatic and to contact support about billing errors. You cancel from Settings, Billing, and keep access until the cycle ends.

    Where Durable's own pages differ

The free plan: its pricing card says the site is "ready to go live" and offers 300 credits to write blog posts and make website changes. The comparison table on the same page gives Free a private preview with no subdomain or domain and marks every AI tool unavailable, and the builder page also calls it "a private preview."

Domains: the FAQ says custom domains are free with every subscription, while the comparison table caps the free domain at $20 in value on Launch and $40 on Grow.

Team members: the pricing page lists unlimited team members as a Grow feature, while the help center says additional teammates are available on Launch and Grow.

Speed and scale claims: the homepage and pricing page say "30 seconds" while the builder page's headline says "in minutes"; the homepage shows both "10M+ sites built" and "11M+ websites generated." Invoicing appears on the builder page and in the help center but not on the pricing page.

    Before you buy

Your content, AI training and leaving

Durable's terms say you keep the intellectual property in your content, but grant Durable a broad, irrevocable license to it, including to improve its services, and let it use anonymized aggregated data for any purpose. Its privacy policy lists training machine learning models among the uses of data.

There's no site or code export described in the terms or help center, and deleting an account is irreversible. If you might outgrow Durable, keep your own copies of text and images, and register or transfer your domain so you control it.

    The Tradeoffs

    Durable Pros and Cons

    • Unlimited pages and traffic on every plan

    • AI credits expire and per-action costs aren't published
    • Fees are non-refundable under the terms
    • Customer data may be used to train its models

    The Audience

    Who Should Use Durable?

    Best for: solo service providers

Cleaners, trainers, tutors and tradespeople who need a credible site, online bookings and a client list get all three on Launch for $22 a month billed yearly, without hiring a designer.

Best for: owners who won't maintain a site

If you'll never open a page builder again after launch, Durable's AI agents can keep a blog and review requests going on their own credits.

Skip if: you sell products or want design control

Online stores belong on Shopify, Wix or Squarespace, and designers who want precise layouts and animations will be happier on Framer or Webflow, which also offer more ways to extend a site.

    The Methodology

    How We Reviewed Durable

This is an editorial review, not a documented hands-on test. We didn't build a Durable site for this review. It's based on Durable's pricing page (monthly and yearly), homepage, AI website builder and about pages, terms of service and privacy policy (both last updated October 9, 2026), and help-center articles on cancellation, refunds, teammates, invoicing and payments, all checked on October 14, 2026. Where Durable's pages differ, we report both statements. No generation speed, site quality, SEO or support results are claimed.

Our editorial evaluation considers product information, official documentation, pricing, features and professional experience. It is not a claim of documented hands-on testing.

Framer: Framer is cheaper to publish and gives far more design control, but it's a design tool first, with no built-in CRM or bookings. Pick Durable for a fast service-business site; pick Framer for a polished brand site.Read our Framer review →

Webflow: Webflow suits designers and growing marketing teams that need a CMS and custom interactions. It has a steeper learning curve and no bookings or CRM; Durable is simpler for owners doing it themselves.Read our Webflow review →

Wix: Wix has an AI site generator, bookings and e-commerce, plus a 14-day money-back guarantee. It covers more business types than Durable but takes longer to set up. BestStacked hasn't reviewed Wix yet.

Squarespace: Squarespace offers polished templates and commerce on every plan, with appointment scheduling through Acuity as a separate subscription, and a 14-day free trial. It's a better fit than Durable for product sellers and design-led brands.Read our Squarespace review →

    How People Actually Use Durable

    A new home-cleaning business

Generate the site on Free to see the draft, then move to Launch to publish on your own domain, take bookings and collect reviews. Register the domain in your own name if you might move later.

A bilingual clinic or tutoring service

Grow ($41 billed yearly) adds site translation with a language switcher and 5,000 AI credits a month. Check that the generated translations meet your professional standards before publishing.

    A shop selling products online

Durable says it isn't designed for e-commerce. Use Wix, Squarespace or Shopify instead.

    The Ecosystem

    Durable Integrations

Durable bundles its own CRM, bookings and listings rather than relying on a large app marketplace.

    • →Stripe for invoices, payments and paid bookings
    • →Calendar sync for bookings
    • →Google Business Profile management (Launch and Grow)
    • →10-plus directory listings (Launch and Grow)
    • →Custom code embeds (Launch and Grow)
    • →Custom domains with free DNS

Durable doesn't publish an integrations count, an app marketplace or a public API, and its FAQ describes it as no-code with limited HTML customization. Teams that rely on other tools for email marketing, scheduling or analytics should check what can be embedded before committing.

    Durable FAQ

    The Final Word

    Should You Use Durable?

    7.7/10 Score

Durable is a sensible buy for a solo service business that values speed over control: one subscription gets a generated site, bookings, a CRM and AI content tools. The costs are lock-in and limits, with no site export, limited customization, no e-commerce, expiring credits and a free plan that can't publish. Generate a preview first, and register your domain so you own it. We score Durable 7.7/10.
