Quick answer
Is Gumloop worth it in 2026?
Gumloop lets you build AI agents that act on your apps: they run on a schedule, a webhook or an app event, work inside Slack, Teams and email, and can be set to ask for approval before writing or deleting data. It's worth it for teams that want agents doing real work across tools without code. Pro starts at $37 a month with 20,000 credits and unlimited seats, but every run is charged at model and tool cost plus an 8% orchestration fee, there's no free plan, and the 14-day trial needs a card. Prices were checked on Gumloop's pricing page on October 13, 2026.
- Best for
- Ops, sales and support teams that want agents in Slack, Teams or email acting on CRM, help desk and data tools.
- Skip it if
- You want a free plan or predictable flat pricing; Zapier and Make have free tiers and simpler task or credit billing.
- Strongest capability
- Approvals per connector (always allow, ask each time, or ask before writes and deletes) on agents that can run unattended.
- Biggest limitation
- Cost predictability: credits cover model tokens, tool calls and compute minutes at list prices, plus an 8% fee (16% with your own keys).
The Verdict
Gumloop has moved from a workflow builder to an agent-first platform. Agents run on schedules, webhooks and app events, work in Slack, Teams and email, use 35 models from nine providers, connect to hundreds of apps and MCP servers, and can be set to ask before acting. Approvals are configurable per connector, which matters for agents that run unattended. Pricing is the weak spot: one self-serve plan, Pro, starts at $37 a month with 20,000 credits and unlimited seats, but runs are billed at model and tool list prices plus compute time and an 8% orchestration fee, rising to 16% if you bring your own API keys. There's no free plan, the trial needs a card, and Gumloop's privacy policy lets it use content from self-serve plans to train its models. We score Gumloop 8.4/10.
Best for
Teams that want unattended AI agents across their tools, with approvals, and will monitor credit use.
Skip if
You need a free plan, flat predictable pricing, or a guarantee that your data won't train the vendor's models without Enterprise.

The Background
What Is Gumloop?
Gumloop is made by AgentHub Inc., which does business as Gumloop and lists offices in San Francisco and Vancouver; its CEO is Max Brodeur-Urbas. It raised a $17 million Series A led by Nexus Venture Partners in January 2025 and a $50 million Series B led by Benchmark in March 2026. In 2026 it renamed Flows to Workflows (now labelled legacy on the pricing page), merged its Solo and Team plans into one Pro plan, launched Gumball, an AI builder and personal agent, and added an Agent Browser. Gumloop names Shopify, Ramp, Gusto, Samsara and Instacart among its customers; those are its own claims.
The Product
Gumloop Features: What You Actually Get
Agents and triggers
Agents start from a schedule (cron or one-time, down to 1-minute intervals), a webhook (up to 100 requests a minute) or one of about 20 app triggers, or from triggers an AI creates for you. Triggers turn off after three failures in a row. Pro allows 5 concurrent workflow runs and 25 concurrent agent chats.
An ops team runs an agent every morning that reads new Zendesk tickets, tags them and posts a summary to Slack.
Approvals per connector
Each connector can be set to allow actions, ask every time, or ask only before writes and deletes, with rule expressions for finer control. Gumloop's docs don't limit this to a plan. Enterprise adds org-wide connector policies; Pro policies are set per agent.
A sales team lets an agent read Salesforce freely but requires a manager's approval before it updates an opportunity.
Slack, Teams, email and browser
Agents can be messaged in Slack and Microsoft Teams, reached by email or hosted pages, and use the Chrome extension to record browser actions or scrape pages. The Agent Browser, launched October 6, 2026, lets agents operate websites.
A recruiter forwards a candidate email to an agent, which researches the person and drafts a reply in Gmail.
Models and Gumball
Gumloop offers 35 models from 9 providers plus an Auto option. Bring-your-own-key is available from Pro, but Pro users can't set keys for the whole organization. Gumball, launched September 9, 2026, builds agents and workflows from a plain-language description.
A founder describes a weekly competitor-pricing check in a sentence and Gumball builds the agent.
MCP, API and connectors
Gumloop claims 400+ connectors on its homepage and over 300 native integrations on its about page. It can host one custom MCP server on Pro, proxy others, and exposes its own MCP server, CLI and REST API. In October 2026 it added 58 Salesforce tools.
An analyst connects an internal database through a hosted MCP server and asks an agent to build a weekly revenue summary.

The Numbers
Gumloop Pricing: Every Plan Explained
Gumloop lists one self-serve plan and Enterprise. Credits cost $0.005 each and pay for model tokens, paid tool calls and compute at list prices, plus an orchestration fee. Checked October 13, 2026, in USD.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Included Features | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ProBest value | From $37 | Annual billing exists; no price published | 20,000 credits a month (7,400 + 12,600 bonus), 8% orchestration fee, unlimited agents, seats and teams, 35+ models, BYOK, 1 hosted MCP server, 5 concurrent runs, email support | Teams building their first agents |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom credits that roll over, fee discounts, org-wide connector policies, RBAC, SSO and SCIM, audit logs, AI spend insights, custom retention, model access control, Slack support | Companies with security and governance needs |
Gumloop's credits are a pass-through of costs: model tokens and paid tools at the provider's list price, 1 credit per tool call (failed calls aren't charged), 5 credits per session-minute of compute, then an 8% orchestration fee on the total. With your own API keys, token costs drop to zero but the fee rises to 16%, calculated on the cost without your keys. Pro credits reset every month; Enterprise credits roll over. When credits run out, agents stop; pay-as-you-go at $0.005 a credit is off by default and capped at 1,000,000 credits ($5,000) per period. The 14-day Pro trial needs a card and rolls into a paid subscription unless cancelled. Gumloop's terms say subscriptions renew automatically and fees are non-refundable except where the law requires. The pricing page says Pro "starts at" $37 but shows no higher tier, and annual billing is mentioned in the terms and changelog without a published price.

Gumloop may train on self-serve data
Section 21 of Gumloop's privacy policy says it may use content from self-serve plans to develop, train and improve its AI models, while Enterprise content isn't used unless you ask in writing. Its terms say the same. Teams putting customer or financial data through agents should weigh this against Enterprise.
Gumloop's trust center lists SOC 2 Type 2, GDPR and HIPAA as compliant and offers a SOC 2 Type II report covering October 2025 to April 2026 on request.

Where Gumloop's own pages differ
Connectors: the homepage claims 400+ connectors; the about page says over 300 integrations.
Free plan: a March 25, 2026 changelog entry lists rate limits for a 'Free tier', while the pricing page and credit docs show no free plan, only the card-required trial. The browser-extension page says it's included in every Gumloop plan with a 14-day free trial.
Billing period: the terms and changelog refer to annual plans, but no annual price is published, and the terms' 'last updated' date (11/06/2026) can be read as June 11 or November 6.

- Self-serve content may train Gumloop's models
- SSO, RBAC and audit logs need Enterprise
- Its own pages disagree on connector count and a free tier
The Audience
Who Should Use Gumloop?
Best for: ops and support teams in Slack
Teams that already work in Slack or Teams can message agents there and let them act on help desk, CRM and data tools, with approvals on writes.
Best for: growing teams sharing one plan
Pro has no seat limits, so a team can share one credit pool and build as many agents as it needs.
Skip if: you want a fixed monthly bill
Usage-based credits plus a percentage fee make spend vary month to month. Zapier's task-based plans or Make's credit plans are easier to budget.
The Methodology

In The Wild
How People Actually Use Gumloop
A support team triaging tickets
Run a scheduled agent that reads new tickets, tags and routes them, and asks before closing any. Start on the Pro trial and watch credit use per run before scaling.
A sales team updating Salesforce
Let an agent read call notes and propose opportunity updates, with approval required on writes. Enterprise adds org-wide policies if several teams build agents.
A cost-conscious founder
If you mainly need simple app-to-app automations, Zapier's or Make's free plans may be enough. Move to Gumloop when you need agents that decide and act.
The Ecosystem
Gumloop Integrations
Gumloop connects to hundreds of apps natively and to any MCP server, and exposes its own API, MCP server and CLI.
- →Slack and Microsoft Teams
- →Gmail and email triggers
- →Salesforce (58 tools added October 2026) and HubSpot
- →Zendesk
- →ZoomInfo
- →Snowflake and SharePoint
- →Custom, proxied and hosted MCP servers; REST API; CLI
Connector counts differ between Gumloop's homepage (400+) and about page (300+). Pro can host one custom MCP server; Enterprise is custom.

The Final Word
Should You Use Gumloop?
Gumloop is a strong agent builder for teams that want AI to act across their tools without code, with approvals that keep risky actions in check and unlimited seats on Pro. Its pricing asks more of buyers than most rivals: a card-required trial, credits at pass-through cost plus a percentage fee, and no free plan. Factor in the self-serve data-training clause too. Run your real workloads during the trial and measure credits per run before committing. We score Gumloop 8.4/10.
Yes, if
You want unattended AI agents in Slack, Teams and email, with per-connector approvals, and can monitor usage.
No, if
You need a free plan, fixed monthly costs, or no vendor training on your data without Enterprise.
