    Quick answer

What is CallTrackingMetrics, and is it worth paying for?

CallTrackingMetrics (CTM since January 2026) is call tracking and contact center software: it assigns tracking numbers to show which ads, keywords and pages drive calls, texts and forms, then routes, records, transcribes and scores those conversations with AI. It's worth paying for if you're an agency or multi-location business that needs attribution plus real call handling, because every plan includes unlimited users. Marketing Lite costs $65 a month prepaid yearly ($79 monthly), Marketing Pro $149 ($179), checked on CTM's pricing page on October 14, 2026. Plans include no numbers or minutes, so budget for usage: $2 a month per local number and $0.04 a minute for forwarded local calls, plus AI fees.

    Best for
Agencies managing client call tracking, and multi-location or sales teams that want attribution, routing and a softphone in one tool.
    Skip it if
You need a few tracking numbers with minutes included at a flat price, or want true month-to-month terms without notice periods.
    Strongest capability
Depth across the call journey: dynamic number insertion and multi-touch attribution, IVR and queues, a softphone and dialer, SMS and chat, and AI scoring in one platform.
    Biggest limitation
Cost predictability: plan fees exclude all numbers and minutes, AI is metered per minute or per activity, and the terms require 30 days' notice and charge early-termination fees on annual plans.

    The Verdict

CallTrackingMetrics is one of the more complete call platforms for marketers. Every plan includes unlimited users and tracking sources, dynamic number insertion and Google Ads, GA4 and Meta integrations; Marketing Pro adds 25 client sub-accounts, form tracking and 3,000 transcription minutes per sub-account; Sales Engage adds queues, skills-based routing and VoiceAI agents. Agencies get sub-accounts, client markups and white-label options. The trade-off is a layered bill: the plan fee buys software only, and numbers, minutes, texts, transcription beyond the allowance and AI analysis are all metered. CTM's FAQ promises no contracts, but its terms require 30 days' notice and charge early-termination fees on annual plans. Phone and chat support start on Marketing Pro. We score CallTrackingMetrics 8.4/10.

    The Background

    What Is CallTrackingMetrics?

CallTrackingMetrics is call tracking, attribution and contact center software from CallTrackingMetrics, LLC, headquartered in Millersville, Maryland. Its company page says Laure and Todd Fisher founded it in 2011 and that it is 100% founder-owned, and that it added a softphone in 2015, a contact center plan in 2018, AskAI summaries in 2024 and VoiceAI agents in 2025. In January 2026 it rebranded as CTM and moved to ctm.com. The software gives each marketing source its own phone number, swaps numbers on your website by visitor source, and ties each call, text, chat or form back to the campaign, keyword and page. The same platform routes and records calls, lets agents answer in a browser softphone, and uses AI to transcribe, summarize and score conversations.

    The Product

CallTrackingMetrics Features: What You Actually Get

    Attribution and dynamic number insertion

Dynamic number insertion shows each visitor a tracking number tied to their source, with number pools for keyword-level tracking, local numbers by geography, and multi-touch attribution. Form tracking (FormReactor) and text tracking sit alongside calls, and conversions flow to Google Ads, GA4, Google Local Services Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit and other ad platforms.

A dental group sees that Google Ads calls from the "emergency dentist" keyword book more appointments than organic search calls, and shifts budget.

    Routing, softphone and contact center

IVR menus, geographic and smart routing, call queues and, on Sales Engage, skill- and weight-based routing send calls to the right person. Agents answer in a browser softphone or mobile app, outbound teams use a dialer, and supervisors get call scripts and live coaching.

A home-services company routes calls by ZIP code to the nearest branch and queues after-hours calls for a callback team.

    AI transcription, summaries and scoring

Calls can be transcribed, summarized and scored with AskAI custom questions, keyword spotting and star ratings, and VoiceAI agents can answer calls on Sales Engage. These are metered: transcription is $0.02 a minute beyond the included minutes, AskAI questions start at $0.01, summaries cost $0.05 per activity and VoiceAI $0.12 a minute.

An agency asks AskAI whether each call was a qualified lead and sends only qualified calls to the client's Google Ads account as conversions.

    Agency sub-accounts and white label

Marketing Pro includes 25 sub-accounts (more in packs of 25 for $50 a month), and Sales Engage and Enterprise are unlimited. Agencies get client sign-up pages, price markups on client usage, roll-up reports and full white-labeling for $65 per domain.

A marketing agency gives each client its own sub-account and branded login, and bills them usage at a markup.

    SMS, chat and compliance

Two-way SMS, bulk and scheduled texts, live chat and Chat AI are available, along with redaction, PCI and SSN detection. CTM says it has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 audit and supports HIPAA with business associate agreements; its pricing page lists HIPAA compliance under Marketing Pro.

A healthcare clinic signs a BAA, redacts card numbers from recordings, and texts patients appointment reminders from the tracked number.

    CallTrackingMetrics Pricing: Every Plan Explained

CTM charges a monthly platform fee plus usage. Prices below are from CTM's plans and pricing page, checked October 14, 2026, in USD; annual and two-year prices are prepaid and shown as a monthly figure. No plan includes numbers or minutes, and CTM waives the first month's plan fee instead of offering a free trial.

    PlanMonthlyAnnualIncluded FeaturesBest For
Marketing Lite$79/mo$65/mo ($60 on 2-year prepay)Unlimited users and tracking sources, call tracking and attribution, transcription at $0.02/min, 1 hour of onboarding; no sub-accounts or form tracking; knowledge base and ticket supportA single business tracking calls
Marketing ProBest value$179/mo$149/mo ($135 on 2-year prepay)25 sub-accounts, 5,000 form submissions a month, 3,000 transcription minutes per sub-account (not renewed monthly), unlimited triggers, premium integrations (Facebook, Reddit, HubSpot, Yext), HIPAA, live phone and chat supportAgencies and multi-location marketers
Sales Engage$329/mo$274/mo ($247 on 2-year prepay)Unlimited sub-accounts, 7,500 form submissions, AskAI summaries on included minutes, skill- and weight-based routing, VoiceAI with 60 minutes per agentSales and support teams
Enterprise$1,999/mo$1,999/mo (billed monthly)Unlimited sub-accounts, 10,000 form submissions, volume pricing, up to 20 hours a year of professional services, Premium Plus support, indefinite data retentionLarge contact centers

The plan fee is only part of the cost. In the US a local tracking number is $2 a month and a toll-free number $3, forwarded local calls cost $0.04 a minute ($0.027 when answered in the softphone, plus $0.007 per agent connection), outbound calls $0.031 a minute and texts $0.016 each, and AI analysis is billed per minute, question or activity. Usage draws from a prepaid balance on a card. A business with 10 local numbers and 2,000 forwarded minutes a month would add about $100 in usage to Marketing Lite (our arithmetic from the published rates, before carrier fees or AI). By comparison CallRail's entry plan includes 5 numbers and 250 minutes. Prepaying saves up to roughly two months a year, but the terms (effective October 1, 2026) renew annual and two-year terms automatically, require 30 days' notice, charge the remaining months if you cancel an annual plan early, and refund unused prepaid balance but not unused subscription time.

    Where CTM's own pages differ

Contracts: the pricing FAQ describes month-to-month engagements with no contracts and cancellation inside the software at any time. The terms of service offer month-to-month, 12- and 24-month terms, require 30 days' notice before renewal on monthly and annual plans, and charge an early-termination fee equal to the remaining months on annual plans.

Plan details: the pricing page says complimentary onboarding is included for Marketing Pro and Sales Engage, while its own table and FAQ give Marketing Lite one hour. The Marketing Pro page lists AskAI summaries and scoring as included; the pricing table includes AskAI summaries only on Sales Engage and Enterprise. The features page counts over 40 no-code integrations, while the comparison table lists about 60. The company page says CTM was founded in 2011, and the site footer's copyright starts in 2010.

It's based on CTM's plans and pricing page (plan cards, comparison table and global usage rates), pricing FAQ, Marketing Pro page, features, company, contact and security pages, its LLM information page (read as vendor data), its January 2026 rebrand release and its terms of service (effective October 1, 2026), all checked on October 14, 2026. Where CTM's pages differ, we report both statements. No attribution-accuracy, call-quality or AI-scoring results are claimed.

    How People Actually Use CallTrackingMetrics

    A marketing agency

Marketing Pro ($149 prepaid yearly) gives 25 client sub-accounts, form tracking and live support. Set client markups on usage so number and minute charges pass through.

    Should You Use CallTrackingMetrics?

    8.4/10 Score

CallTrackingMetrics suits agencies and multi-location teams that need attribution and real call handling together, with unlimited users and strong ad-platform integrations. Treat the plan price as a starting point: model numbers, minutes and AI usage before you buy, and read the renewal and notice terms, which are stricter than the "no contracts" FAQ suggests. We score CallTrackingMetrics 8.4/10.
