Quick answer
Which CallRail plan do I need?
If you only need to know which campaigns and keywords drive calls and texts, Lead Tracking is enough: $50 a month billed yearly or $55 monthly, with 5 local numbers, 250 minutes (transcription included) and 25 texts. If leads also come through web forms, Lead Tracking Complete ($95 yearly, $105 monthly) adds form tracking and multi-touch attribution. Lead Conversion ($150, $165) adds AI call summaries, sentiment, lead scoring and coaching, and Lead Conversion Complete ($195, $215) combines everything. Every plan bills extra numbers, minutes and texts on top.
- Trial
- 14 days free with no credit card. Texting is available only after the trial.
- Users
- Unlimited users and companies in one account at no extra cost, which suits agencies.
- Usage
- Extra local numbers are $3 each, local minutes $0.06, toll-free numbers $5 and texts $0.03. Each call rounds up to the minute.
- Skip it if
- You want a business phone system. CallRail retired its Lead Center softphone on January 27, 2026; it's a tracking and analysis layer.
The Verdict
CallRail is a strong pick for businesses and agencies whose leads arrive by phone and who need to know which ad, keyword or page produced each call. One JavaScript snippet swaps in tracking numbers per visitor, calls are recorded and transcribed on every plan, and Google Ads, GA4, Microsoft Ads, Meta and HubSpot integrations are included without an add-on fee. Unlimited users make it easy to share with clients. The costs need watching: the base price covers 5 numbers and 250 minutes, form tracking and multi-touch attribution need a Complete plan, AI summaries and lead scoring start at $150 a month billed yearly, Salesforce is an $80 premium integration, and annual plans can't be cancelled or refunded mid-term. Support is weekdays only. We score it 8.5/10.

The Background
What Is CallRail?
CallRail is call tracking and lead attribution software. It gives you tracking numbers, either a pool of numbers that swap per website visitor or one number per campaign, and records which source, campaign and keyword led to each call or text. On higher plans it also tracks web form submissions and uses AI to summarize calls, score leads and flag conversions. It's sold in four packages: Lead Tracking, Lead Tracking Complete, Lead Conversion and Lead Conversion Complete, all billed per account with usage on top, plus separate Healthcare plans with a BAA and a Voice Assist AI answering add-on. It works in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia.
The Product
CallRail Features: What You Actually Get
Dynamic number insertion and keyword attribution
A JavaScript snippet swaps a tracking number into your site for each visitor (a website pool) or shows one number per campaign. CallRail says keyword-level attribution, localized numbers and offline tracking are on every plan. Its help center notes that Google Ads conversions, the visitor timeline and multi-channel attribution need visitor-level tracking with a website pool.
A roofing company sees that most booked jobs came from two Google Ads keywords, not the broad-match campaign it was paying more for.
Recording, transcription and call flows
Call recording is included at no extra cost, and local minutes include transcription. CallRail's help center lists 17 transcription languages, though one AI article still says English only, and HIPAA accounts are English only. The call flow builder supports menus, business hours, round robin and voicemail; geo-routing and responsive routing are $15 per company.
A law firm routes after-hours calls to voicemail with transcription and reviews recordings of missed intake calls the next morning.
Form tracking and multi-touch attribution
The Complete plans add form tracking for your existing HTML forms or CallRail's form builder, with 1,000 submissions a month included and $0.02 each after that, plus multi-touch attribution and cost-per-lead reporting. CallRail's Lead Attribution report defaults to a 50/50 model.
An HVAC company sees calls and quote-form leads on one timeline per customer and compares cost per lead across Google and Meta.
Premium Conversation Intelligence
The Lead Conversion plans add AI call summaries and sentiment, lead scoring, automatic conversion tagging, multi-conversation insights, coaching and Convert Assist follow-up drafts. Usage is billed as analysis minutes: 10,000 a month are included, then $0.05 each.
A dental group's marketing manager filters for calls tagged as booked appointments instead of listening to every recording.
Texting
Every plan includes 25 texts a month, then $0.03 each, with messaging flows and quick responses. Texting is available after the trial, and outbound texting needs business registration.
A home services team replies to missed-call texts from the tracking number so the lead stays attributed.
Agency tools
Accounts can hold unlimited users and companies. An Account Center add-on lets clients own and pay for their accounts while the agency keeps admin access, with white-label branding and custom subdomains. CallRail doesn't publish its price.
An agency gives each client a reporting-only login and keeps all call data under one agency account.
Healthcare and compliance
Healthcare plans include a signed BAA and start at $150 a month, according to CallRail's healthcare page, with PHI redaction on by default and a 30-minute auto-logout. Its Trust Center lists SOC 2 Type II and ISO 42001, with hosting on AWS.
A multi-location clinic tracks which campaigns drive new-patient calls under a BAA, with transcripts redacted.

CallRail Pricing: Every Plan Explained
CallRail sells four packages, each starting with 5 local numbers and 250 minutes a month, with usage billed on top. The pricing page loads on yearly billing, which saves up to 10%. There's a 14-day free trial with no card. Prices are in USD for US accounts, checked on October 10, 2026.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Included Features | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lead Tracking | $55/mo | $50/mo | 5 local numbers, 250 minutes with transcription, 25 texts; call and text attribution, recording, routing, keyword tracking, automation rules | Businesses that only need call attribution |

| Lead Conversion | $165/mo | $150/mo | Lead Tracking plus Premium Conversation Intelligence: AI summaries and sentiment, lead scoring, conversion tagging, coaching; 10,000 analysis minutes | Call-heavy businesses that want AI call review |
| Lead Conversion Complete | $215/mo | $195/mo | Call tracking, form tracking and Premium Conversation Intelligence | Agencies and multi-channel advertisers |
CallRail's base prices are only the start. Each plan includes 5 local numbers and 250 minutes; after that, local numbers are $3 each, local minutes $0.06, toll-free numbers $5 and toll-free minutes $0.08, texts $0.03, form submissions $0.02 and analysis minutes $0.05. Each call rounds up to the minute, and overage fees are non-refundable. Salesforce, Marketo and other premium integrations are $80 each, advanced routing steps are $15 per company, and API use above 1,500 calls a month is $80 or $200 a month. Yearly billing saves about 9%, but CallRail's annual plans are non-refundable and can't be cancelled or switched to monthly until the term ends. Monthly plans have no long-term contract. Note that the visible pricing table shows $0.06 per local minute, while two hidden versions of the table in the same page show $0.05.
Pricing scenarios
What CallRail costs: three calculations
These are our calculations from CallRail's published prices on October 10, 2026, not quotes. Taxes are not included.
Calculation 1, a plumber with one website and three ad channels. Lead Tracking at $55 a month billed monthly covers 5 numbers and 250 minutes. If calls run to 400 minutes, the extra 150 minutes add 150 × $0.06 = $9, for $64 that month.
Calculation 2, a dental practice with forms and Salesforce. Lead Tracking Complete at $95 a month billed yearly, plus the $80 Salesforce premium integration (CallRail's table doesn't state the billing period; assuming monthly), is $175 a month before usage.
Calculation 3, an agency running 10 client websites with 3 extra numbers each. Lead Conversion Complete at $215 a month billed monthly covers 5 numbers; the other 25 numbers add 25 × $3 = $75, for $290 a month before minutes and texts. Users are unlimited, so client logins cost nothing extra.

The Methodology
How We Reviewed CallRail
This is an editorial review, not a documented hands-on test. We didn't use a CallRail account. It's based on CallRail's pricing page (rendered in a browser, both billing toggles), product pages for call tracking, form tracking and Conversation Intelligence, its integrations, healthcare, enterprise and security pages, its Trust Center and Help Center articles, all checked on October 10, 2026. The cost scenarios are our calculations from published prices. Where CallRail's pages conflict, as on per-minute rates, transcription languages and support hours, we report both statements instead of picking one.
Our editorial evaluation considers product information, official documentation, pricing, features and professional experience. It is not a claim of documented hands-on testing.

In The Wild
How People Actually Use CallRail
A home services company spending on Google Ads
Use Lead Tracking with a website pool, send call conversions back to Google Ads, and cut keywords that bring clicks but no calls.
A marketing agency with 20 local clients
Run each client as a company under one account with unlimited users, pull call data into AgencyAnalytics, and add Account Center if clients should pay directly.
A multi-location dental group
Use a Healthcare plan with a BAA, track new-patient calls by location and campaign, and let AI tagging flag booked appointments.
The Ecosystem
CallRail Integrations
CallRail doesn't state a native integration total. Its comparison table includes dozens of integrations on every plan, premium integrations cost $80 each, and Zapier connects it to 9,000+ apps.
- →Google Ads, Google Ads Lead Forms, GA4, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, Google Business Profile
- →Microsoft Ads, Facebook / Meta Ads
- →HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Unbounce, VWO, Mixpanel
- →Salesforce, Marketo, Acquisio, Marin, Kenshoo, Optimizely X ($80 each)
- →ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber
- →Clio, Clio Grow, MyCase
- →RingCentral, Slack, Calendly
- →WordPress, Wix
- →Zapier, REST API and webhooks
Google Ads conversions only work with visitor-level tracking (a website pool), and CallRail's Salesforce integration needs Salesforce REST API access. API use above 1,500 calls a month is billed at $80 or $200 a month.

CallRail FAQ
The Final Word
Should You Use CallRail?
CallRail does the core job of call tracking well: it tells you which campaign, keyword and page produced each call, records and transcribes those calls on every plan, and passes conversions to Google Ads and GA4 without add-on fees. Unlimited users make it practical for agencies. Budget for usage beyond the included 5 numbers and 250 minutes, the Complete plans if you also need form tracking, the Lead Conversion plans for AI analysis, and $80 for Salesforce, and think twice before choosing a non-refundable annual plan. We score CallRail 8.5/10.
