Quick answer
Is Unbounce worth it, and which plan do you need?
Unbounce is a landing page builder for marketing campaigns: you build pages, popups and sticky bars from templates, publish them to your own domain or WordPress, and send leads to your CRM. On October 19, 2026, Starter cost $22 a month billed yearly ($29 monthly) but allows only 5 pages and 500 visitors a month. Most buyers need Build at $74 yearly ($99 monthly) for unlimited pages, popups and 20,000 visitors, or Experiment at $112 yearly ($149 monthly) for unlimited A/B testing and dynamic text replacement with 30,000 visitors. Going over a cap doesn't take pages offline: Unbounce bills $80 for every extra 10,000 visitors. The 14-day trial needs no card, but fees aren't refundable once you subscribe.
- Best for
- Marketers and small agencies testing campaign pages who want phone and live chat support on every plan.
- Skip it if
- Your traffic is large or unpredictable: Leadpages Grow ($79 a month billed yearly) has A/B testing with no visitor caps.
- Strongest capability
- Unlimited A/B tests with manual traffic allocation, confidence intervals and dynamic text replacement from Experiment, plus Smart Traffic on Optimize.
- Biggest limitation
- Visitor caps on every plan (500 on Starter) and non-refundable fees; overage costs $80 per extra 10,000 visitors.
- Current cost
- Starter $22/mo yearly ($29 monthly); Build $74 ($99); Experiment $112 ($149); Optimize $187 ($249); Concierge and Agency custom.
The Verdict
Unbounce is one of the longest-running landing page builders, and its plan list is easy to read: Build for unlimited pages and popups, Experiment for A/B testing and dynamic text replacement, Optimize for Smart Traffic, its AI routing that sends each visitor to the variant it predicts will convert best. Compared with Instapage, testing is cheaper ($112 a month billed yearly against $159), going over a visitor cap triggers a one-time overage fee rather than a locked account, the 14-day trial needs no card, and phone and live chat support are listed on every plan, Starter included. The weaknesses are the caps themselves (Starter's 500 visitors and 5 pages make it a trial more than a working plan), no heatmaps on any self-serve plan, fees that are strictly non-refundable, and a cancellation that unpublishes every page and can lead to deletion after 90 days. We score Unbounce 8.1/10.

The Background
What Is Unbounce?
Unbounce is a landing page platform whose site footer dates the company to 2009. You build pages in a drag-and-drop editor from 100+ templates or a blank canvas, add popups and sticky bars to your pages or your main website, and publish to an Unbounce subdomain, your own root domain or a WordPress site. Leads from forms go to its lead list and on to CRMs and email tools through native integrations, Zapier or webhooks. Plans are limited by monthly unique visitors, counted once per person per month across pages, popups and sticky bars, so cost rises with traffic, while conversions and subdomains are unlimited on every plan. Unbounce also offers an MCP server on all plans that lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT build and manage pages through prompts. What it doesn't do: it isn't a full website CMS, it doesn't sell products with checkout and upsells like ClickFunnels, it doesn't run your ads, and an A/B test only tells you which variant your own visitors preferred; it can't guarantee a lift.
The Product
Unbounce Features: What You Actually Get
Builder, popups and sticky bars
The drag-and-drop builder is mobile-responsive, with lead gen forms, page redirects, 2FA, a speed boost and automatic image optimization on every plan. Build adds unlimited pages, popups and sticky bars, multi-step forms, custom scripts and pixels, custom code and styling, and Smart Copy, its AI copywriting assistant for remixing, expanding and summarizing page copy.
A demand-gen marketer builds a webinar page and adds an exit-intent popup to the company blog to collect the same sign-ups.
A/B testing and dynamic text replacement
Experiment adds unlimited A/B tests with unlimited variants, manual traffic allocation and confidence intervals, plus dynamic text replacement, which swaps headline text to match the visitor's search term. Unbounce says its tests are natively integrated, which avoids the delay and flicker of script-based testing tools. Industry benchmarks for conversion rate and readability are ticked on Experiment in the comparison table.
A paid-search team runs two headline variants with a 70/30 split and uses dynamic text so each ad group's keyword appears on the page.
Smart Traffic and Optimize-only tools
Optimize adds Smart Traffic, which Unbounce describes as AI that routes each visitor to the variant they're most likely to convert on, and for which it claims an average of 30% more conversions (its own figure). It also adds page, popup and sticky bar scheduling, advanced targeting and triggers, visitor attributes and audience insights, with 50,000 visitors, 5 users and 3 root domains.
An ecommerce marketer with several audiences lets Smart Traffic route visitors across three page variants instead of waiting for a single winner.
Client sub-accounts, MCP and Concierge
Every paid plan from Build includes unlimited client sub-accounts for separating campaigns or clients, and the MCP server is on every plan. Concierge (from 100,000 visitors, 15 users) and Agency (from 50,000 visitors, 10+ root domains) are custom-priced and add audit logs, implementation services and a dedicated customer success manager.
A small agency on Experiment keeps each client in its own sub-account and asks Claude, through the MCP server, to draft a new variant.

The Numbers
Unbounce Pricing: Every Plan Explained
These are USD prices from unbounce.com/pricing and the plan-comparison page on October 19, 2026, read in a browser with both billing toggles. Yearly billing saves 25%. Every plan is capped by monthly unique visitors; conversions and subdomains are unlimited.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Included Features | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29/mo | $22/mo billed yearly ($264/yr) | 5 pages, 500 visitors/mo, 1 user, 1 root domain, lead gen forms, MCP server, free hosting; no popups, integrations or custom scripts | Trying Unbounce on one small campaign |
| Build | $99/mo | $74/mo billed yearly ($888/yr) | Unlimited pages, 20,000 visitors/mo, 1 user, 1 root domain, popups and sticky bars, multi-step forms, AI copywriting, custom code, integrations, client sub-accounts | Campaign pages without testing |
| ExperimentBest value | $149/mo | $112/mo billed yearly ($1,344/yr) | Everything in Build plus unlimited A/B testing and variants, manual traffic allocation, confidence intervals, dynamic text replacement, conversion insights; 30,000 visitors, 3 users, 2 root domains | Marketers who test every month |
| Optimize | $249/mo | $187/mo billed yearly ($2,244/yr) | Everything in Experiment plus Smart Traffic, scheduling, advanced triggers, visitor attributes, audience insights; 50,000 visitors, 5 users, 3 root domains | Teams with several audiences and steady traffic |
| Concierge / Agency | Custom | Custom | Concierge from 100,000 visitors and 15 users; Agency from 50,000 visitors, 5+ users and 10+ root domains; audit logs, implementation services, CSM | Larger companies and agencies |
Pricing scenarios (our calculations from Unbounce's published USD prices on October 19, 2026; tax excluded). Build costs $888 a year billed yearly or $1,188 paid monthly. Experiment, the plan most buyers choose Unbounce for, costs $1,344 a year billed yearly or $1,788 monthly; Optimize costs $2,244 or $2,988. Overage is the number to plan around. Unbounce's help center and terms say that if you pass your visitor allocation your pages keep running, and at the end of the billing cycle you pay a one-time $80 for every 10,000 extra visitors, rounded up. So an Experiment account with 45,000 visitors in a month (15,000 over) pays $160 extra that month, and its own example puts 85,000 visitors on Optimize at $320. Allocations are per account, not per page or client. If you'd pass the cap most months, the next plan is usually cheaper than repeated overage. Starter's 500 visitors are enough for a test page, not a paid campaign. The terms say fees are strictly non-refundable, cancellations aren't refunded, annual changes take effect at the end of the term and prices can rise at renewal, with 30 days' notice before an annual renewal. Cancelling unpublishes every page and deletes custom domains, and the help center says the account may be deleted 90 days later, so download pages as .unbounce files first.

Where Unbounce's pages differ
Industry benchmarks: the pricing page lists "Industry benchmarking" under the Optimize plan, while the plan-comparison page ticks "Industry benchmarks" from Experiment. Both pages read on October 19, 2026. If benchmarks matter to you, confirm with sales before choosing Experiment.
Starter integrations: the pricing page lists "1000+ integrations" as a Build feature and the comparison table doesn't tick "Integrations and tracking" on Starter, so assume Starter leads stay in Unbounce unless you export them. The integrations page itself says thousands of connections run through Zapier and webhooks rather than native integrations.
Competitor comparisons on other vendors' pages: Leadpages' pricing page compares itself with "Unbounce ($99/mo with 20K visitor cap)", which matches Unbounce's Build plan. Treat any vendor's comparison table as marketing and check the other vendor's own pricing page, as we did here.
Scoring
How the score is built
BestStacked weights five sub-scores: ease of use 20%, features 25%, pricing 20%, support 15% and integrations 20%. For Unbounce they come only from Unbounce's own pages, not from testing, and are calibrated against Instapage (7.9) and Leadpages (8.2). Ease of use 8.4: a drag-and-drop builder with 100+ templates, a short plan list and a no-card trial; below Leadpages' AI-first editor, above Instapage, whose caps lock accounts. Features 8.5: unlimited A/B tests, dynamic text replacement, Smart Traffic, popups, sticky bars, multi-step forms, AI copy and an MCP server, but no heatmaps on self-serve plans and none of Instapage's server-side Collections or AdMap. Pricing 7.3: testing from $112 a month billed yearly (below Instapage's $159, above Leadpages' $79), visitor caps on every plan, overage at $80 per 10,000 visitors instead of a lockout, a 500-visitor Starter and strictly non-refundable fees. Support 8.0: phone, live chat and email listed on every plan, weekdays 6 AM to 6 PM Pacific, with a 24/7 help center and bot; Instapage keeps live chat for Convert. Integrations 8.2: native Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, GA4 and Google Tag Manager plus Zapier and webhooks, but none on Starter. That works out to 8.1 out of 10.

Best for: marketers running paid search and social
Experiment's unlimited tests, manual traffic splits and dynamic text replacement cover the core paid-campaign workflow at $112 a month billed yearly, with 30,000 visitors and 3 users.
Best for: small agencies
Unlimited client sub-accounts from Build keep campaigns separate, and the per-account visitor pool plus a published overage price make monthly costs predictable enough to pass on.
Skip if: traffic is high or spiky
At 100,000 visitors a month you're into custom Concierge pricing or paying overage; Leadpages Grow and Optimize, and ClickFunnels, don't cap visitors.

How We Reviewed Unbounce
This is an editorial review, not a hands-on test. BestStacked didn't use Unbounce for this review and makes no page-speed, conversion or support-quality claims. It's based on Unbounce's own pages, all checked on October 19, 2026: the pricing page with its FAQ and plan tooltips (read in a browser with both billing toggles), the plan-comparison table, the integrations page, the terms of service (last updated July 15, 2023) and help center articles on overage fees, contacting support and cancellation. In The Wild
How People Actually Use Unbounce
A B2B SaaS marketer
Experiment ($112 a month billed yearly) covers demo and webinar pages with HubSpot or Salesforce sync and monthly headline tests. Budget for overage if a launch could push past 30,000 visitors.
A small paid-media agency
Build gives unlimited client sub-accounts for $74 a month billed yearly, but only 1 user; move to Experiment for 3 users and testing, or ask about Agency pricing once clients add up to 50,000 visitors.
A local business running one campaign
Starter's 500 visitors won't cover a paid campaign. Build at $74 a month billed yearly is the realistic entry point; compare Leadpages Pro or Business if you don't need popups.
The Ecosystem
Unbounce Integrations
Unbounce lists native integrations on its integrations page and says thousands more run through Zapier and webhooks. Integrations start on Build.
- →Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo and Pardot
- →Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, Campaign Monitor and AWeber
- →Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
- →Zapier and webhooks
- →Hotjar, CallRail, Chili Piper and LiveChat
- →Google Sheets and Twilio
- →WordPress publishing
- →MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT (every plan)
Starter doesn't include integrations and tracking in the plan-comparison table. Unbounce doesn't publish an integration count per plan beyond the "1000+ integrations" line on Build.

The Final Word
Should You Use Unbounce?
Unbounce is a solid choice for marketers who test landing pages every month and want live help when something breaks. Experiment's unlimited tests and dynamic text replacement cost less than Instapage's equivalent, overage is a published fee rather than a locked account, and phone support is on every plan. It's not the cheapest way to test, though: Leadpages includes A/B testing with no visitor caps for $79 a month billed yearly. Unbounce's visitor caps, non-refundable fees and the cancellation rules mean you should size the plan to your traffic before you pay. We score Unbounce 8.1/10.
