    Quick answer

Should you hire a virtual assistant through Wing?

Only after reading its Terms of Service, and not for work that touches sensitive data or systems you can't afford to have mishandled. Wing's prices are low: $699 a month for a part-time general assistant (80 hours, about $8.74 an hour by our calculation) or $999 for full-time (160 hours, about $6.24). But its Terms say all fees, including the deposit, are "final and non-refundable" ("Refunds, Continued"), that Wing may sign an NDA "At Wing's own discretion" ("Non-Disclosure and Other Agreements"), that clients "are fully and wholly responsible for giving and removing access" ("Removal of Assistant Accesses"), that claims about an assistant's work must be pursued against the assistant or a "Contracted Company", not Wing ("Liability Boundaries"), and that you can't contact or contract with your assistant for "up to three (3) calendar years" after leaving.

    Card fee
Paying by card adds $35 a month, typically from the second month (Terms, "Payment Methods"); ACH avoids it.
    Cancelling
Give your Customer Success Manager 10 calendar days' notice before renewal, or the next month is charged (Terms, "Payment / Billing Policies").
    Security page
On October 10, 2026, Wing's privacy and security page showed unfilled template text such as '[locations/regions]' and '[pending confirmation]'.
    Skip it if
You need an enforceable NDA by default, refundable terms, or a provider that accepts liability for its staff's work.

    The Verdict

We can't recommend Wing Assistant to most readers as things stand. The service itself is simple and cheap: a dedicated assistant from $699 a month for 80 hours, matched after a short call, with a Customer Success Manager and free replacement. The problem is the gap between Wing's marketing and its Terms of Service. The marketing promises an NDA as standard and access revoked within 24 hours; the Terms make the NDA Wing's discretion and access removal your sole responsibility. All fees and the deposit are non-refundable, card payers pay $35 a month extra, the full-time plan's '16% Savings' label doesn't match its own prices, claims about an assistant's work must go against a 'Contracted Company', and a three-year non-solicit applies. Its security page also showed unfilled template placeholders. For routine, low-risk tasks, buyers who accept those terms may still get value. We score it 7.1/10.

    Best for

Owners who want inexpensive help with routine admin, scheduling or data entry, can keep the assistant away from sensitive systems, and have read and accepted the Terms.

    Skip if

The assistant will handle customer data, finances, health information or account credentials, or you need refundable terms, a guaranteed NDA or a provider that takes responsibility for its staff.

    The Background

    What Is Wing Assistant?

Wing Assistant is a managed virtual-assistant service. You pay a monthly fee for a dedicated remote assistant who works a fixed number of hours, by default in one continuous block of 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, at times you choose. After a 15-minute planning call, Wing says it matches you to an assistant by role, tools and industry and has them working within 24 to 48 hours. Each client gets a Customer Success Manager, and Wing says a QA team supervises assistants and offers free replacement. Its Terms state that the work is performed by a 'Contracted Company', with assistants and staff located in the Philippines, India, Mexico, Colombia and other countries, while Wing AI Technologies, Inc. provides the platform. Wing also sells real-estate, US-based and specialist assistants.

    The Product

Wing Assistant Features: What You Actually Get

    Dedicated assistant and matching

Each plan includes one dedicated assistant, not a shared pool. Wing says matching follows a 15-minute call and that assistants are live in under 48 hours, and expects you to spend 15 to 30 minutes a day on feedback in the first week. If you miss the planning call, its Terms say Wing matches you to its standard specifications a day later and billing starts on the agreed date anyway ("Payment / Billing Policies").

A real-estate agent books a call on Monday and has an assistant handling listing updates and calendar invites by Wednesday.

Customer Success Manager, QA and replacement

Plans include a Customer Success Manager, QA and supervision, and replacement of the assistant at no extra cost, which Wing's pages describe as within 24 hours.

An e-commerce owner asks the CSM for a new assistant after two weeks of missed deadlines.

    Hours and coverage

Part-time plans cover 80 hours a month and full-time plans 160. The homepage says 'any hours you want', while the real-estate and US-based pages say you choose from designated slots. Other coverage, such as 8 hours over 7 days or 24/7, is quoted on request.

A US agency books an assistant from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern so they overlap with the team's working day.

    Wing Workspace App

Wing describes a 'human + AI-powered workspace' app on iOS, Android and Microsoft, with Slack and a dedicated phone number also offered. Part-time plans include 10 GB of storage and full-time plans unlimited storage.

A founder assigns tasks in the app and receives updates in Slack.

    Specialist and US-based assistants

Real-estate assistants cost $1,099 part-time and $1,599 full-time, and US-based assistants $2,499 and $4,999 a month. Sales, healthcare, legal and technical roles are quoted separately.

A brokerage chooses a real-estate assistant trained on MLS and CRM tasks.

Wing Assistant Pricing: Every Plan Explained

Wing charges a flat monthly fee per assistant. Plans are month-to-month and renew automatically, and no annual price is published. Prices below are from Wing's homepage pricing section and its virtual-assistant, real-estate and US-based pages. Hourly rates are our calculations. Prices checked on October 10, 2026.

Specialist rolesQuoteQuoteSales, healthcare, legal and technical assistantsSpecialized work

Wing's headline rates are low for a dedicated assistant: by our calculation about $8.74 an hour part-time and $6.24 full-time for general assistants. The terms around the price are less friendly. Its Terms say the deposit is non-refundable and counts toward the first payment, refundable only at Wing's discretion if no assistant is provided within 31 calendar days ("Deposits"). They say "All charges are non-refundable" and that any refund is at Wing's sole discretion and may require you to sign a release of claims ("Payment / Billing Policies" and "Refunds, Continued"); the Billing Policy page instead says Wing may consider refunds case by case. Card payers pay $35 per client per month, typically from month 2 ("Payment Methods"). You must give 10 calendar days' notice before renewal to cancel. The full-time plan's '16% Savings' label doesn't match its own prices: $999 for 160 hours is about 28.5% cheaper per hour than $699 for 80, and on the US-based page the same label sits on two plans with the same hourly rate. Specialist roles are quoted separately.

Where Wing's Terms differ from its marketing

We compared Wing's marketing pages with its Terms of Service (effective date 31 January 2018) and Billing Policy on October 10, 2026. Most of the Terms' headings are unnumbered, so we cite each provision by its heading and quote its wording.

NDA. Wing's how-it-works and enterprise pages say every engagement includes NDA coverage as standard. The Terms' "Non-Disclosure and Other Agreements" provision says that "At Wing's own discretion, Wing may deem it appropriate" to cooperate with a request to sign an NDA, MSA or BAA, and that such agreements bind only if signed by one of four named executives. Wing's FAQ separately says its assistants sign NDAs.

Access removal. The same marketing pages say access is revoked within 24 hours if you leave. The Terms' "Removal of Assistant Accesses" provision says clients "are fully and wholly responsible for giving and removing access" and that "Wing holds NO liability for what may occur in your systems" as a result.

Refunds, deposit and card fee. The Terms' "Payment / Billing Policies" say "All charges are non-refundable", and "Refunds, Continued" calls all fees "final and non-refundable". The deposit is non-refundable except, at Wing's discretion, if no assistant is provided within 31 days ("Deposits"), and "Payment Methods" adds a $35 monthly fee for card payments.

Non-solicit. The Terms' "Communication with Assistants or Wing Talents Outside Normal Course of Business" provision bars you from contacting your assistant outside Wing's platforms or contracting with them or a Contracted Company during the relationship and for "up to three (3) calendar years after". The stated remedy is an injunction plus damages; no buyout fee is published.

Liability. The Terms' "Liability Boundaries" provision says claims about assistants "MUST BE PURSUED DIRECTLY AGAINST THE ASSISTANT AND/OR THE CONTRACTED COMPANY, NOT WING", and caps Wing's liability at the lesser of 12 months' fees or $5,000. "Liability of Assistant Issues, and Loss Arising from the same" says the work is completed by a Contracted Company and that the client waives "any and all liability associated with Assistant Issues". "Material Breaches" says assistant issues can't be grounds for a material breach.

Security page. Wing's privacy and security page claims ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA and GDPR compliance. On October 10, 2026 the same page showed unfilled template text, including 'Your data may be stored and accessed in [locations/regions]' and 'Wing provides: [pending confirmation]'.

    Pricing scenarios

What Wing costs in practice: three calculations

These are our calculations from Wing's published prices and fees on October 10, 2026, not quotes.

    Calculation 1, a part-time general assistant paid by card for 6 months. 6 × $699 = $4,194, plus the $35 card fee for months 2 to 6 (5 × $35 = $175), for $4,369, or about $9.10 an hour across 480 hours. Paying by ACH avoids the $175.

    Calculation 2, a full-time general assistant for 12 months by ACH. 12 × $999 = $11,988 for about 1,920 hours, or about $6.24 an hour.

    Calculation 3, the '16% Savings' label. Two part-time plans would be 2 × $699 = $1,398 for 160 hours; the full-time plan is $999 for 160 hours, which is $399 or about 28.5% less, not 16%.

    The Tradeoffs

    Wing Assistant Pros and Cons

    What we love

    • Low published price for a dedicated assistant: $699 for 80 hours or $999 for 160
    • Month-to-month plans with no annual commitment
    • Customer Success Manager and free replacement included
    • Quick matching after a 15-minute call, by Wing's account
    • Real-estate, US-based and specialist options

    What could be better

    • All fees, including the deposit, are "final and non-refundable" under the Terms
    • NDA signed "At Wing's own discretion" under the Terms, despite "standard" in marketing
    • Clients are "fully and wholly responsible" for removing an assistant's access, per the Terms
    • Claims about an assistant's work go against a "Contracted Company", not Wing, with Wing's liability capped
    • Non-solicit of "up to three (3) calendar years" after you leave
    • $35 monthly card fee; '16% Savings' label miscalculated; security page showed template placeholders

    The Audience

    Who Should Use Wing Assistant?

Best for: routine admin on a tight budget

Inbox triage, scheduling, data entry and research that don't need access to sensitive systems suit Wing's low hourly rates.

Skip if: the assistant will touch sensitive data

With NDAs at Wing's discretion, access removal on you and liability pushed to a Contracted Company, keep customer, financial and health data out of scope or choose another provider.

Skip if: you want flexible exit terms

Non-refundable fees, 10 days' notice and a three-year non-solicit make it hard to walk away or hire a good assistant directly.

    The Methodology

    How We Reviewed Wing Assistant

This is an editorial review of a service, not a documented hands-on test. We didn't hire a Wing assistant or speak with its sales team. It's based on Wing's homepage pricing section, its virtual-assistant, real-estate, US-based, how-it-works, enterprise, FAQ, billing and privacy and security pages, its Zero Tolerance Policy and its Terms of Service, all checked on October 10, 2026. Hourly rates and cost scenarios are our calculations from published prices. Figures Wing gives about its applicants, customers and ratings are its own claims and aren't repeated as facts. Where Wing's marketing and its Terms conflict, we cite both, with the Terms section.

Our editorial evaluation considers product information, official documentation, pricing, features and professional experience. It is not a claim of documented hands-on testing.

How People Actually Use Wing Assistant

    A solo real-estate agent

Use a part-time assistant for listing updates and scheduling through shared calendars, and keep MLS and client financial details under your own logins.

    An e-commerce store owner

Hand off order-status emails and product data entry, give access through a password manager you control, and revoke it yourself when the engagement ends.

    A founder testing delegation

Try one month of part-time help by ACH to avoid the card fee, and calendar the 10-day cancellation deadline before you start.

    The Ecosystem

    Wing Assistant Integrations

As a service, Wing doesn't integrate with your software the way an app does. Your assistant works inside the tools you give them access to, and Wing provides its own workspace for tasks and messages.

    • →Wing Workspace App (iOS, Android, Microsoft)
    • →Slack
    • →Dedicated phone number
    • →Your own tools, through access you grant and must revoke yourself (Terms, "Removal of Assistant Accesses")

Wing's Terms say it may record assistants' keystrokes, mouse movements and screenshots for oversight, and that other Wing staff may access what you share. Factor that in when deciding which systems to open up.

    The Final Word

    Should You Use Wing Assistant?

    7.1/10 Score

Wing Assistant offers dedicated virtual assistants at some of the lowest published monthly prices we found, with a Customer Success Manager and free replacement. We can't recommend it to most readers, though, because its Terms of Service put most of the risk on the client: non-refundable fees and deposit, an NDA only at Wing's discretion, access removal and liability pushed to you or a 'Contracted Company', a three-year non-solicit and a $35 card fee, alongside a miscalculated savings label and a security page with unfilled placeholders. If you only need help with routine, low-risk tasks and accept those terms, it can still be good value. We score Wing Assistant 7.1/10.

    Yes, if

You want cheap help with routine admin, will keep the assistant away from sensitive systems, and have read and accepted the Terms of Service.

    No, if

You need refundable terms, a guaranteed NDA, a provider that's accountable for its staff, or the freedom to hire your assistant directly.
