Quick answer
Is KrispCall worth it?
KrispCall is worth a look if you want a cheap business number for a very small team and don't need call recording on day one. Starter is $12 per user a month billed yearly ($15 monthly) for up to 5 users, with 200 outbound and 200 inbound minutes, 100 SMS segments, multi-level IVR and call monitoring. Recording, transfers, the power dialer and Salesforce start on Advance at $32 ($40 monthly), and Max ($48, $60) lifts the minutes to a fair-use 2,000 each way per user. There's no free trial: you pay up front and get a 14-day refund window with exclusions.
- Trial
- None. KrispCall's FAQ says there's no free trial or free plan, a card is required, and it offers a 14-day refund on the subscription instead.
- Minutes
- Bundled, not unlimited, on Starter (200 each way) and Advance (1,000). Max says unlimited, but its FAQ caps it at 2,000 minutes per user a month each way.
- Numbers
- One free US, Canada or UK number per user. Other countries need a number fee and, usually, ID verification.
- Skip it if
- You need call queues, desktop apps or an API today. KrispCall lists all three as coming soon.
The Verdict
KrispCall is a sensible budget option for solo operators and small teams that want a US, Canada or UK business number with an IVR, call monitoring and a CRM link, and that make a predictable number of calls. Its entry price is low and its comparison table ticks HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho and Zapier on every plan. The trade-offs are real, though: minutes are bundled rather than unlimited, the fair-use policy excludes toll-free, international, forwarded and power-dialer calls, call recording starts on Advance, AI call summaries are an add-on with no published price, and call queues, desktop apps and the API are still listed as coming soon. There's no free trial, and the refund policy is narrower than the pricing page's "unconditional" wording suggests. We score it 8.2/10.
Best for
Solo founders, consultants and teams of up to five that want a cheap second line with IVR, monitoring and CRM logging.
Skip if
You need a free trial, unlimited calling, call queues, desktop apps or an API right now.

The Background
What Is KrispCall?
KrispCall is a cloud phone system from KrispCall Communications, a US company with an office in Singapore. You get virtual numbers and make calls and send texts from a web app, iOS and Android apps or a Chrome extension. It's sold in three self-serve plans (Starter, Advance and Max) plus a custom Enterprise plan for 50 or more seats. Each plan bundles a set number of minutes and SMS segments per user, with extra usage paid from prepaid credit. KrispCall also sells an AI Voice Agent on custom pricing and offers AI call transcripts and summaries as an add-on on Advance and Max. It says it covers 160+ countries on its pricing page and offers numbers in 100+ countries in its FAQ.
The Product
KrispCall Features: What You Actually Get
Numbers and bundled minutes
Every user gets one free US, Canada or UK number. Starter includes 200 outbound and 200 inbound minutes and 100 SMS segments per user a month, Advance 1,000 minutes each way and 500 segments, and Max "unlimited" calling under fair use, which the FAQ puts at 2,000 minutes per user a month each way, plus 1,000 segments. Allowances are pooled across the account, reset monthly and don't roll over.
A three-person consultancy shares a 600-minute outbound pool on Starter and tops up credit in a busy month.
IVR and call routing
Phone trees and multi-level IVR, call forwarding, greetings, hold music, agent groups and custom caller ID are ticked on every plan, including Starter. Call transfers start on Advance. Call queuing and ring strategies are marked "Coming Soon" in the comparison table.
A small agency sends callers to sales or billing with a two-level IVR on its $12 Starter plan.
Call monitoring
Call listening, whispering and barging are on every plan, which is unusual at this price. Reports are basic on Starter and advanced on Advance and Max, and CDR reports are available on request.
A founder listens in on a new rep's first calls and whispers suggestions without the customer hearing.
Call recording and AI summaries
Call recording, with unlimited storage under fair use, starts on Advance. Call transcripts and summaries are shown on the Advance and Max cards with an "Add on" badge, and KrispCall doesn't publish the add-on price. Its AI Copilot page still has an early-access form.
A sales team on Advance records discovery calls and adds the summary add-on once it has a price from sales.
SMS, bulk texting and 10DLC
SMS and MMS are on every plan; bulk SMS starts on Advance and doesn't count against included segments. Texting US numbers needs A2P 10DLC registration. The pricing page lists a $4.50 brand fee and a $15 campaign vetting fee, while KrispCall's help center lists $40 carrier vetting, so expect one-time registration costs either way.
A property manager texts tenants from a local number after registering a low-volume 10DLC campaign.
Power dialer
A power dialer is included from Advance. Its calls are excluded from included minutes under the fair-use policy and billed at standard rates.
An SDR on Advance works through a list of 80 callbacks with the power dialer, paying per minute from credit.
Apps
KrispCall has a web app, a Chrome extension and iOS and Android apps. Windows and macOS desktop apps are listed as coming soon.
A field technician takes customer calls on the mobile app and the office manager answers in the browser.

The Numbers
KrispCall Pricing: Every Plan Explained
KrispCall charges per user per month. Annual billing saves 20%. There's no seat minimum, no free plan and no free trial; a card is required, and KrispCall offers a 14-day refund window on the subscription. Prices below are in USD as shown to a US visitor. Checked on October 10, 2026.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Included Features | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $15/user | $12/user/mo | Up to 5 users; 200 outbound and 200 inbound minutes, 100 SMS segments; multi-level IVR; call listen, whisper and barge; basic reports | Solo operators and teams of up to five |
| AdvanceBest value | $40/user | $32/user/mo | Up to 50 users; 1,000 minutes each way, 500 SMS segments; call recording, transfers, power dialer, bulk SMS, Salesforce; AI summaries as an add-on | Small sales teams that need recording |
| Max | $60/user | $48/user/mo | No member limit; "unlimited" calling under fair use (2,000 minutes per user each way, per the FAQ), 1,000 SMS segments; developer support; dedicated account manager | Teams with heavier calling |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Volume pricing for 50+ seats; custom uptime SLA; dedicated manager and onboarding; priority support | Larger teams |
Starter's $12 is below the entry prices of CallHippo, Quo and Dialpad, but it's built around bundles: 200 minutes each way per user, pooled across the account, and only calls to US, Canadian, UK and Australian local numbers count toward them. Toll-free, international, forwarded and power-dialer calls are billed at standard rates from prepaid credit, and KrispCall's rate calculator didn't display rates when checked, so budget for usage. Recording needs Advance at $32 a month billed yearly, and Max's "unlimited" calling is capped at 2,000 minutes per user each way in the FAQ. Numbers beyond the free one start at $4 a month, 10DLC registration has one-time fees, and the AI summary add-on has no published price. Paying up front without a trial is the other cost: the pricing page promises a "14-day unconditional refund", but the refund policy excludes change-of-mind requests, credit, used add-ons and assigned numbers.
Pricing scenarios
What KrispCall costs for a real team: three calculations
These are our calculations from KrispCall's published prices on October 10, 2026, not quotes. Usage beyond the bundles, taxes and carrier fees are not included.
Calculation 1, a solo consultant on Starter. $12 a month billed yearly ($144 a year) or $15 monthly, with one free US number, 200 outbound minutes and 100 SMS segments a month.
Calculation 2, a three-person sales team on Advance. 3 × $32 = $96 a month billed yearly ($1,152 a year), or 3 × $40 = $120 monthly. The team shares a pool of 3,000 outbound minutes and gets recording and the power dialer, but power-dialer calls are billed per minute outside the pool.
Calculation 3, the same team texting US customers. Add 10DLC registration: a $4.50 brand fee plus a $15 campaign vetting fee (KrispCall's help center says $40) one time, and a $1.50 monthly low-volume campaign fee.

The Methodology
How We Reviewed KrispCall
This is an editorial review, not a documented hands-on test. We didn't use a KrispCall account or place calls. It's based on KrispCall's pricing page, fair-usage, refund and terms pages, feature pages, integrations directory, downloads page, DPA, security page and help center articles, all checked on October 10, 2026 (in a browser, because the site blocked plain fetches). The cost scenarios are our calculations from published prices. Where KrispCall's pages conflict, as on the refund promise, Max's unlimited minutes, 10DLC fees and country coverage, we report both statements instead of picking one.
Our editorial evaluation considers product information, official documentation, pricing, features and professional experience. It is not a claim of documented hands-on testing.

In The Wild
How People Actually Use KrispCall
A solo consultant in the UK
Use Starter for a free local UK number, an IVR greeting and the mobile app, and keep calls within the 200-minute bundle.
A 4-person outbound sales team
Use Advance for recording, the power dialer and Salesforce or HubSpot logging, and budget per-minute credit for power-dialer calls.
A small property management office
Share one number across the team with an IVR on Starter, and register a low-volume 10DLC campaign to text tenants.
The Ecosystem

KrispCall says it has 100+ integrations. Its pricing table names 89 and its integrations directory linked to 83 pages when checked. Most are ticked on every plan.

Common Questions
KrispCall FAQ
The Final Word
Should You Use KrispCall?
KrispCall is one of the cheapest ways to give a small team business numbers with an IVR and live call coaching: $12 per user a month billed yearly on Starter, with HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zapier ticked on every plan. It's a weaker fit for anyone who needs unlimited calling, recording on the entry plan, call queues, desktop apps or an API today, and the lack of a free trial means you're relying on a refund policy with exclusions. Price in usage outside the bundles and 10DLC fees if you text US customers. We score KrispCall 8.2/10.
