Quick answer
What is Pitch, and is it worth paying for?
Pitch is a presentation editor built for teams: people co-edit decks on shared templates, Pitch Agent (launched May 27, 2026) drafts and edits slides from a prompt, files and your templates, and tracked links and pitch rooms show who viewed which slides and for how long. It's worth paying for if several people make client-facing decks and you want brand control and viewer analytics in one place. The free plan covers up to 5 members with 100 one-time AI credits; paid plans start at Plus, $13 a month billed yearly or $15 monthly for one person, checked on Pitch's pricing page on October 13, 2026. Team costs $19 per seat a month billed yearly ($23 monthly). Fees are non-refundable under Pitch's terms.
- Best for
- Sales, marketing and agency teams of 2 to 25 people who share templates and want slide-level analytics on the decks they send.
- Skip it if
- You work alone and mainly want fast AI first drafts exported to PowerPoint or Google Slides; Gamma's free plan covers that.
- Strongest capability
- Team presentation workflow: live co-editing, custom templates and fonts, teamspaces, content variables, and advanced links and pitch rooms that track visits, slide views and time per slide.
- Biggest limitation
- Metered AI and plan gating: free AI credits are one-time, advanced links start on Team, and the pricing page contradicts itself on Plus PowerPoint export and Team link limits.
The Verdict
Pitch is a strong choice for teams that make decks together and send them to clients. The editor supports live collaboration, custom templates, fonts and an asset library, and since May 2026 Pitch Agent builds decks from your own templates, then edits slides through chat. From the Team plan, advanced links and pitch rooms report visits, slide views and time spent per slide, with email capture, passcodes and a custom domain. An MCP server and API (August 2026) let assistants such as Claude create decks from call notes or CRM records. The trade-offs are metered AI (100 one-time credits on Free, 500 a month per seat on Plus and Team), team analytics locked to Team and above, and a pricing page that disagrees with itself on what Plus and Team include. Security documentation is thin: Pitch's security policy describes AWS hosting in Europe and encryption but claims no SOC 2 or ISO certification, and SSO is Enterprise-only. We score Pitch 8.4/10.
Best for
Teams that co-create client-facing decks on shared templates and want to track how viewers engage with them.

You work alone, need unlimited AI generation, or require documented security certifications below Enterprise.

The Background
What Is Pitch?
Pitch (pitch.com, operated by Pitch Software GmbH in Berlin, founded in 2018 and led by co-founder and CEO Adam Renklint) is a collaborative presentation platform. Teams create decks in a shared workspace on the web, desktop and mobile apps, using custom templates, fonts and an asset library, and present or share them through links, embeds, PDF and PowerPoint exports. Pitch Agent, its AI assistant, drafts decks from prompts, attachments and templates and edits slides in chat; AI use is metered with credits. Advanced links and pitch rooms add viewer analytics and deal-room style sharing. Pitch says 4M+ teams use it and that its staff is almost 50 people; those are its own figures. Pitch's official pages checked on October 13, 2026 mention no acquisition or change of ownership.
The Product
Pitch Features: What You Actually Get
Pitch Agent and AI credits
Pitch Agent creates a deck from a prompt, uploaded files (PDF, image, CSV and text) and a template you choose, then adds slides, rewrites text, restructures decks and swaps images through chat. Image tools generate, extend, upscale and edit backgrounds. Every AI action uses credits: 100 one-time on Free, 500 a month on Plus, 500 per seat a month on Team and 750 per seat on Business, and extra credits cost $0.004 each ($4 per 1,000), according to Pitch's AI credits guide. Admins can set a credit budget or turn AI off for the workspace.
A marketing lead uploads a campaign brief as a PDF, picks the company template and has Pitch Agent draft a 12-slide client proposal to refine with the team.
Advanced links and engagement analytics
Advanced links track visits, slide views and time spent on each slide, and can require a visitor email, a passcode or consent, allow PDF downloads and send visit notifications. The pricing page lists them from the Team plan (25 on Team per its plan card, unlimited on Business), and the Free plan gets basic sharing links only.
A sales rep sends a proposal through an advanced link, sees that the buyer spent four minutes on the pricing slide, and follows up the same day.
Pitch rooms
Pitch rooms bundle decks and resources behind one link and report how clients engage with them, like a lightweight deal room. Team includes 2 shared pitch rooms and Business unlimited.
An agency shares a credentials deck, case studies and a pricing sheet in one room for a pitch, and checks which items the client opened.
Team templates, teamspaces and variables
Custom templates and an asset library keep decks on brand on every plan, with custom fonts and video uploads from Plus. Team adds workspace roles (admin, creator, commenter), free commenters, 3 teamspaces with access controls, template controls, 30-day version history, co-presenting and content variables for batch-personalized decks; Business adds unlimited teamspaces, library collections and unlimited version history.
A 15-person sales team keeps one approved template in a shared teamspace and uses variables to generate a personalized deck for each prospect.
MCP server and API
Pitch's remote MCP server (August 12, 2026) lets AI clients such as Claude and ChatGPT find, read, create and edit decks, manage share links and read link analytics, scoped to one workspace and your account permissions. Pitch's changelog announced an API at the same time. Agent edits through MCP use workspace AI credits, and advanced link options need a plan that includes them.
An account executive asks Claude to turn a call summary into a follow-up deck in Pitch using the team template, then shares it through a tracked link.

The Numbers
Pitch Pricing: Every Plan Explained
Pitch shows prices by country. The figures below are the US prices on Pitch's pricing page, checked October 13, 2026; visitors elsewhere see EUR, GBP or a separate USD price list. Annual prices are shown as a monthly figure. Team and Business are priced per seat, and you pay for editors (owners, admins and creators) only; commenters and guests are free.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Included Features | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | Up to 5 members, 100 one-time AI credits, unlimited presentations, custom templates, basic sharing links, 2 external guests, branded PDF exports and embeds, 10GB total storage, 5MB images; no PowerPoint export | Trying Pitch and personal projects |
| Plus | $15/mo | $13/mo | 1 member, 500 AI credits a month, custom fonts, video uploads, unbranded PDF and PowerPoint exports (per the plan card), 5 external guests, 10GB storage; no advanced links | Solo professionals |
| TeamBest value | $23/seat/mo | $19/seat/mo | 1 to 25 members, 500 AI credits per seat a month, advanced links with engagement analytics, 2 pitch rooms, 3 teamspaces, 25 guests, free commenters, variables, 30-day version history | Small teams sharing client decks |
| Business | $30/seat/mo | $25/seat/mo | 1 to 200 members, 750 AI credits per seat a month, unlimited advanced links, pitch rooms, teamspaces and guests, library collections, unlimited version history | Larger teams |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Minimum 30 seats, required above 200 members; SAML SSO and SCIM, priority support, dedicated success manager, tailored onboarding, invoiced billing | Organizations needing SSO |
Seat pricing is linear: the pricing page multiplies the per-seat rate by the number of seats, so five Team editors cost $95 a month billed yearly ($1,140 a year) or $115 month to month (our arithmetic from Pitch's listed prices). Pitch advertises a 17% saving for yearly billing; that matches Team and Business, while Plus works out to about 13% ($13 vs $15). Extra AI credits cost $0.004 each, and admins can cap spending with a workspace budget. Pitch's help center says subscriptions renew automatically, cancelling keeps access until the end of the current cycle before the workspace drops to Free, editors added mid-cycle are charged pro rata, and removed members aren't refunded or credited. Its Terms of Use (version 1.1.3, May 29, 2026, under German law) say fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable, monthly plans renew for a further month unless cancelled in text form by the end of the month, and unused credits expire on cancellation. Pitch may raise prices once a year with notice, and customers can object to increases above 5% within two weeks. Free trials are offered case by case through support, and Pitch says it doesn't offer student or education discounts.

How Pitch handles AI and your data
Pitch's AI page says it doesn't train or host its own models. Pitch Agent uses models from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google (some Anthropic models run through AWS Bedrock in the EU), and image features use fal.ai. Pitch says presentation data is not used to train AI models, AI runs only when a user starts it, attachments are sent to the provider handling the request, and feedback is shared with Pitch only when you send it. Workspace admins can turn AI off for everyone.
Pitch's security policy says its infrastructure runs on AWS in European regions, with AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS in transit, sign-in through Auth0 and daily database backups kept up to 30 days. The page does not claim SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification, and SAML SSO and SCIM are listed only on Enterprise. Teams with formal vendor-security requirements should ask Pitch for its data processing agreement and subprocessor list before buying.

Where Pitch's own pages differ
PowerPoint export on Plus: the pricing page's Plus plan card and Pitch's PowerPoint export integration page list unbranded PPTX export on Plus, but the comparison table on the same pricing page marks PowerPoint exports as unavailable on Plus and available only from Team.
Advanced links on Team: the Team plan card says 25 advanced links, and the premium plans help article agrees, while the pricing page's comparison table lists 2 advanced links (and 25 engagement analytics) for Team.
Storage on Team: the pricing table lists 10GB per member and images up to 1GB, while the premium plans help article describes unlimited storage and unlimited image upload size on Team.
Plan names and analytics: the AI credits guide calls the Team plan Pro, and the Free plan card's sharing-link tooltip mentions engagement analytics while the comparison table marks engagement analytics as unavailable on Free.

The Field
Pitch vs The Competition
Pitch competes with AI deck generators and with the slide tools inside office suites. Prices below were checked on each vendor's own pages on October 13, 2026.

In The Wild
How People Actually Use Pitch
A five-person agency new-business team
Team at $19 per seat billed yearly ($95 a month for five editors) gives shared templates, 2 pitch rooms and tracked links; clients and reviewers can join as free commenters or guests.
A freelancer or consultant
Start on Free to build templates, then move to Plus ($13 billed yearly) for custom fonts, unbranded exports and 500 monthly AI credits. Confirm PowerPoint export works on Plus before relying on it, since the pricing page contradicts itself.
A sales team on HubSpot
Use HubSpot forms and meetings blocks inside decks, content variables for personalized versions and advanced links to see which prospects engaged, then connect Claude through Pitch's MCP server to build decks from CRM notes.
The Ecosystem
Pitch Integrations
Pitch connects to data, media and sales tools inside slides, and to AI assistants through its MCP server and API.
- →HubSpot (forms and meetings)
- →Google Sheets, Google Analytics and ChartMogul (live data)
- →Slack, Notion and Loom
- →Figma, Unsplash, Giphy, Brandfetch and LottieFiles

We score Pitch 8.4/10.
Yes, if
Your team builds client-facing decks together on shared templates and wants to track how viewers engage with them.
No, if
